LifeCare Alliance\/Meals on Wheels<\/h2>\n
QQ members make and donate placemats to LifeCare Alliance for their Meals on Wheels program. Meals on Wheels provides meals for older adults and medically challenged residents of Franklin and several other counties, helping residents remain independent in the comfort of their own homes. “Nourishing the Human Spirit”<\/em> is their motto. Learn more about their programs and services at www.lifecarealliance.org<\/a>.\u00a0 The placemats are usually collected at the March meeting.\u00a0 Guidelines are included in our newsletter.\u00a0 We home it lets the recipients know someone is thinking about them.<\/p>\n We delivered 518 placemats to LifeCare Alliance for 2020-2022.<\/p><\/div>\n The 4th Trimester clinic at OSU was started as a program for extremely at risk families after delivery. These moms have had scant prenatal care due to transportation and economic issues. 4th Trimester will sign them up for an appointment at the clinic to see an obstetrician, a pediatrician, and a social worker all in one visit in the first week following discharge. It is hoped regular healthcare will be established and maintained. \n<\/strong>Kids ‘N Kamp offered programs and support for children and their families touched by childhood cancer. Many members of QQ participated in their annual Celebrity Quilt Auction by donating quilts.\u00a0 Kids ‘N Kamp is no longer in operation.<\/li>\n
